Outdoor Etched-Portrait Plaques

Our outdoor metal plaques are etched from zinc, one of the most durable metals for the elements. Zinc is commonly used to plate other metals to protect them from rusting. Solid zinc is etched using a photo-chemical process that is capable of producing very fine artistic details and small letters in clear, crisp relief.

Characters and artwork may be raised or recessed. Different mounting options are also available (see below).

Mounting Options: Holes and Color Match Screws (wood or plaster surface), or welded Mounting Studs (masonry surface). Stake mounts are also available.

Available in numerous shapes and sizes up to 23×35.

Please Note: Base price does not include artwork, typesetting and layout (calculated according to the complexity of the project), shipping, and options such as mounting, photo scanning and conversion, image retouch (if needed), special shapes, color matching, etc.

*Portrait photographs can be professionally sketched as a line drawing starting at about $200. Stipple and crosshatch styles are also available.
