    “Simple & Affordable” Aluminum Plaques

    Sample Fonts:   Our Simple & Affordable Plaques are an inexpensive, but attractive and durable alternative to standard aluminum and bronze castings. To keep them affordable we keep them simple:  No custom logos, no images, no font substitutions or fancy colors ("just the text and nothing but the text")! Each plaque is cast in solid aluminum measuring 1/4" thick, and features a satin finish, raised letters and border, on a textured, enamel background.  The entire piece is clear coated to inhibit tarnishing. The minimum letter size is .5". Fonts include Caslon and Helvetica as shown below.

  • Metalphoto

    What is Metalphoto? Metalphoto was developed for the U.S. Navy and is suitable for use in extreme environments. It is the most economical alternative among outdoor metals. Letters, lines and photos are not raised but impregnated into the pores of the smooth metal surface creating a permanent, scratch-resistant image. Metalphoto plaques in outdoor environments should maintain their integrity for about 20 years or more before the image begins to fade due to ultraviolet rays (actual lifetime will vary with exposure to sunlight). Metalphoto plaques are available in gold, silver, and copper finish (not shown).  Fonts, metals and styles, and artwork can all be customized to your desired specifications.

  • Custom Aluminum Plaques

    Our cast aluminum plaques are available in with a Brushed Aluminum finish, or a Bronze Finish, and come with a Variety of Fonts, Color Fills, and Border Styles Cast aluminum is a lightweight, durable metal suited for outdoor use. It is an economical alternative to bronze. In designing your plaque, limit text to a maximum of 2-3 characters per square inch (e.g., a 5×8 plaque, which is 40 square inches, should have no more than 120 characters). Reproduction of small letters and detailed artwork is best done with our etched metal plaques.

    Available in gold, silver, or copper finish with a variety of color fills, this gorgeous etched, memorial plaque combines the elegance of a classic etching with the economy of Metalphoto or UV Printing as a less expensive alternative to our hand-drawn, etched metal portrait plaques. A durable, scratch-resistant, metallic photo plate is mounted on a magnesium plaque with raised or recessed etched letters. Photos can be printed in color (UV only) or black and white (UV and Metalphoto). This indoor plaque comes with a solid walnut base.
